Excellent book describing history and grammar of Sanskrit
An excellent book to understand the history of Sanskrit and many nuances of its grammar both in Vedic and Classic versions of Sanskrit. The author demonstrated the complexity of the language in an easy to understand manner. Still he just scratched the surface of the language and the grammar of a very complex and ancient language. One need to have come interest in the grammar to read and enjoy the book. Still one will get a good understanding of the same.
