Absolutely a brilliant book!!! I’m at awe and completely impressed by the author’s originality. Parts of her experience may have been told with such freshness, intensity and power. A nice simple writing style
I loved reading this book, that was recommended to me by my friend..A very natural style of writing, Balam Sundaresan has brought to life a set of incidents in a normal Tamilian family, which transported me to a life as narrated to me by my mother.

Review of Two Loves & Other Stories
True to it's name Two Loves is a lovable read as it so resonates with the experiences of the reader. It is a heart-warming collection of stories some of which bring out the inherent tendency to go the extra mile to help others in need, some bring out the innate goodness of people who try to reform the very people who treat them badly by being wise and not vengeful, some bring out the inner resilience of people long subjected to humiliation to stand up and take charge of life when needed.
All characters resemble those whom you have seen around you or heard about and so the author establishes a good connect with the one who reads.
