A short and good read.
The conflict in Mewar between Rana Pratap and Akbar can be regarded as a contest between two extraordinary minds. What makes the conflict so fascinating and replete with romance, valour and intensity, was that both sides were represented by two of the most interesting personalities of 16th century. even though Akbar brought to the conflict all the vast resources and the best military talent he had in his command, he could not bring about the subjugation of one Kingdom and defiant ruler. Maharana Pratap, while he had the satisfaction of never bowing to Mughals.
A short and good read.
